We all know the world is evolving at an ever growing pace. Spinning vinyl and even buying CDs is becoming a thing of the past, whereas downloads and YouTube links are the main platforms for sharing music, spreading tunes through the masses.

While our much loved record players and CD collections are left on our shelves largely for vintage display purposes, the sounds that once filled the room will never be forgotten. Different to today’s music, say 30 years ago, there were definite musical trends that, with certain make-up, hair (yikes!) and fashion, defined an era. As musicians tour the globe, we are eager to follow. When they stop, the true legends live on not only through album copies sold but talented up and coming musicians just dying to cover a song that most likely inspired them to get to where they are today.

Have you had a musical peak?  Be the 60s, 70s, or 80s, most of us can identify a time in our lives when we had the most fun. The best times in our lives often go hand in had with memorable music. Do you recall rocking out to classics from any of these musical era’s? Bet you do!

Whether it was the swing of the 60s, the rock and roll of the 70s or the synthesizers, dancing and big hair of the 80s, each musical style has left a permanent mark in history. We like to think we can help these legends live on as we strive to re-create that we never want to forget!

Some events are unforgettable. Memories of particular concerts stay with us long after they’re over and are talked about through the generations. They take us back to a time where YouTube didn’t exist, facebook wasn’t an option and seeing some of the best bands on the planet live really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Ah yes, the days of seeing some of the best musicians in the industry have passed but it doesn’t mean we can’t relive the magic today. CAL are passionate about reminiscing the treasured moments and replicating those sounds with impressive vocals and extraordinary musical talent!
